Ben Meyerson is the author of the poetry collection Seguiriyas and five chapbooks: Near Enough, After Boabdil, An Ecology of the Void, Holocene, and In A Past Life. He holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Minnesota and an MA in philosophy from the Universidad de Sevilla. He is currently a PhD candidate in comparative literature at the University of Toronto, where he studies how the words of flamenco music, medieval troubadour lyric, and Judeo-Spanish oral song elaborate philosophies of material circulation, transit, itinerancy, memory, and social belonging. His poems, essays, and translations have been published in a variety of journals in both English and Spanish, including Interim, PANK, Long Poem Magazine, Mundo Obrero, Great River Review, The Inflectionist Review, and Pidgeonholes.
